Multinational corporations like Siemens are well-equipped to establish a impregnable system of checks and balances. Therefore, lack of an adequate system of checks and balances can be understood as ignorance and negligence of the concerned authorities in Siemens.Corporations are better positioned to moot with corruption than governments, particularly publicly listed multinationals. They have lots of checks and balances that should prevent corruption.
